29 Reasons why I love my husband

Written by Shannon Leigh

Yes, I realize that it is 2 days AFTER our anniversary and NO, I didn't stop at #14 because I couldn't think of anything else to say.
I'd rather spend my very few free moments WITH my precious husband instead of writing about him. Plus, we aren't really celebrating until tomorrow.

So here it goes.

15. He's so low maintenance. I think the man would be satisfied with frozen pizza for every meal. Although I think he likes my gourmet meals, or at least I hope he does.
16. I love it when he REALLY laughs. It doesn't happen all that often but when it does it is the best sound in the world. He usually cries big tears down his cheeks.
17. He is the best foot rubber in the whole wide world, or is he the ONLY person who rubs my feet? I'm not sure which but either way it feels great and he often does it without prompting.
18. He loves my family and is a total ham around my parents. For some reason he is really boisterous when we are with them. He definitely turns on the charm.
19. He ALWAYS takes out the trash.
20. He plays devil's advocate in every situation. It kind of drives me nuts but he helps me to see the other perspective and in turn stretches me and makes me a better person.
21. He is the best researcher on the planet. I can ask him a question and he'll have the answer within minutes. I guess that's what happens when you're an attorney- he spends most of his day researching things.
22. The way to his heart is through a 40 oz fountain soda.
23. He designed my engagement ring with a private jeweler in Chicago. His thoughtfulness and particular-ness really amazed me. He still knows more about diamonds than I ever will.
24. He took me to London last year for our anniversary.
25. He does that majority of the dishes but he is banned from doing the laundry.
26. He does all of the ironing. I am not proud of this fact but I am horrible at it. I know I should be a good wife and take care of his ironing but he never complains and on Sunday mornings asks ME if I need anything ironed. My motto- if it needs ironed I just won't wear it.
27. He supports my many creative endeavors.
28. I love his family.
29. He wrote in my anniversary card "without you my life would be beige."

Well, honey without you i'd be an un-ironed, unhappy mess.

Here's to 3 years!

A belated happy anniversary to you! It never ceases to amaze me how much Matt and Kyle are alike.
