A warm day in November

November has been weird. It's been super warm (well on & off).

So warm in fact that Ruby and I have been spending our afternoons outside in the sun.

In short sleeves.

The weather has been great for business but it hasn't done much for getting me in

the holiday spirit.

I'm a little behind in the holiday cheer department.

Busy doesn't begin to describe the last few month.

Ruby is really great right now.

She babbles all the time.

She says MaMa, Dada, Uh-oh, and I'm fairly certain that she has been saying Izzy.

She isn't crawling yet- she doesn't really have any interest in it, at least not yet.

We are all looking forward to Thanksgiving "break" this week!

We get to see my family and snuggle with my sweet little nephews.

I'm sure that these warm November days aren't here to stay so we're soaking them up while they last!

I am so in love with this Eames fiberglass rocking chair. Unfortunately it sells for $350. I don't think this will grace the nursery any time soon unless I find a killer deal:)

A Long Time Ago...

Ok, like a month ago.

We went to the GPP (the Great Pumpkin Patch for those of you who aren't around these-here-parts).

It's been featured on Martha Stewart multiple times.

It's in Arthur wear the Amish live.

The Dollar General has a hitching post - like for horses. Just fyi.

Ruby, who often wears fruit, appropriately wore her pumpkin hat.

Which she then, by some stroke of genius inside her, played with said hat while sitting in front of giant display of pumpkins.

It's true folks, I couldn't have written it better myself.

This same sweet genius baby then ate (chewed on) a stick.

She is clearly happy with that decision.

We walked through lots of mazes

We went with our friends Derek & Janna and their son (Ruby's future husband) Carter.

Isn't he dreamy? Carter that is.

Is that a squash or is that Ruby?
