Babies don't keep

Written by Shannon Leigh

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
for children grow up,
as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs.
Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby.
Babies don't keep.

I hadn't heard this poem until you posted it once a while back. Thanks for sharing! It is a good reminder and one that I need for sure. :)
