Homemade fries and scrapbooking

Burgers, homemade fries, chocolate milkshakes and vintage plates... that, my friends, is where it's at. Especially spending it with my lover.
Want to make homemade fries? Just bake sliced potatoes brushed with olive oil, season salt and garlic powder. YUM! By the way, have you tried the Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Syrup? Being an advocate for all things dark chocolate, I suggest you try it. It does turn your milk a very funky color but the deliciousness is worth it.Not too long ago I was looking through pictures of Matt and I's engagement and all that went along with it (showers, bachelor party, etc.) So, I decided to put them together in a scrapbook (Hey better late than never, right?). I am so excited that it is getting finished. I love the way it's coming together. Here's a little sneak peak.

how sweet! I love the scrapbook! :) I just finally finished mine from our honeymoon a couple of months ago.

I've decided that your scrapbook pages are hanging for one of three reasons:
1. Instead of the expensive scrapbooking adhesive, you now use glue -- so the pages are hanging out to dry.
2. You're just being creative with the way you show off your handiwork on your blog.
3. You're making a new experimental type of scrapbook that has no traditional book binding, just some ribbon attached to the ceiling.

I love making homemade french fries!! Have you ever tried making them with the little red potatoes? They're pretty good too:)

p.s. I wish I liked scrapbooking...your pages are too cute!

I used the "drawer" below the oven to cook the burgers.
