Me- a Photographer??

Saturday I was commissioned by one of my best friends to take some graduation photos. She came to town along with her boyfriend, Nate. Matt and I had a GREAT time hanging out with them and catching up. Here are some images from the shoot.

When I got my current job at the University I figured photography was something of the past, something I would just do as a hobby. However, even though I spend 8-5 as an HR Trainer I can't get photography out of my head. So Matt and I have really thought and prayed about it and I think I am ready to go out on my own and start doing photography for real, obviously on the side for now. I know it sounds kinda crazy. So, If you or someone you know want some photos taken let me know. :)

Let me be a vote of encouragement.

In related news, we took Simon to be photographed at JCPenney's yesterday and the pictures are really mediocre. You could do a much better job.

Get your studio ready because you know full and well that Kellen is turning 2 and we have to get Two year pictures done! So I'll be your first client - heck maybe I'll even pay you! ahaha You have exactly 3 1/2 weeks.

Kyle and I had a horrible wedding photographer (we got what we paid for). I would really love to have some quality photos taken of us. Tell me about your rates, dear one!

It would be impossible for me to communicate my level of excitement within a single blog comment. We can't wait to stand beside you on this grand endeavor.

I have been wanting to do "trash the dress" photos...first I need to fit in my dress again...but I think it would be fun for a 5 year anniversary thing. I really liked the group photo on trashthedress.com with a group of brides...how fun would it be if we all trashed our dresses together!!

those pics are awesome :) and they totally capture zay's personality. Photography's totally something you can do on the side...word of mouth eventually gets around, and then you've got enough for a business. It would be so exciting if you really did it!
